The Red Rooster Cottage

This cottage is a 975 SF unit with 2 bedrooms (MBR downstairs & 2nd BR upstairs) – each with a queen-size bed and work desk upstairs; living room with large sleeping sofa & wall-mounted flat screen TV; dining area + galley kitchen with all appliances; bathroom with large walk-in shower; a washer/dryer; DIRECTV service; and ample parking. All linens & utensils are provided. Located about 1/4 mile from the main entrance on the corner of The Homestead at 3218 property, you’ll get a gate opener so you can enter the resort area after the gate closing hour. The nightly rate covers 1-5 men with a 2-night minimum on weekends & designated holiday/event periods.

Rainey Creek House Suites

Fully-furnished suites with queen-size beds (pillows & linens included) plus queen-size sleeper sofa in all but Suite E; private bath with face cloths and towels plus house toiletries; complete kitchen (stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, sink with garbage disposal, toaster & coffee maker) with items for cooking & dining; flat-screen TV (select DIRECTV channels), ceiling fans & convenient adjacent parking. $100 non-refundable pet deposit/stay for a dog up to 25 lbs.

Suite A rates are for 1 or 2 members/night ($20 each add’l member/night over 2 members up to occupancy limit of 4) plus 6% hotel tax.   Rate includes daily housekeeping, if requested.

Suite B rates are for 1 or 2 members/night ($20 each add’l member/night over 2 members up to occupancy limit of 4) plus 6% hotel tax.   Rate includes daily housekeeping, if requested.

Suite C rates are for 1 or 4 members/night ($20 each add’l member/night over 4 members up to occupancy limit of 6) plus 6% hotel tax.   Rate includes daily housekeeping, if requested.

Suite D rates are for 1 or 2 members/night ($20 each add’l member/night over 2 members up to occupancy limit of 4) plus 6% hotel tax.   Rate includes daily housekeeping, if requested.

Suite E

Suite E rates are for 1 or 2 members/night plus 6% hotel tax.   Rate includes daily housekeeping, if requested.

Bunk Room

Single beds furnished with pillow, linens and blanket plus your own private clothes locker. Located across the hall from the Rec Center’s community showers and restroom. Key access to Bunk Room and clothes locker.

Bunk room rates are for one member’s overnight stay.

Hostel-Style Sleeping Cubicles

Each cubicle has a raised built-in platform with a sheet-covered mattress, pillow, sheet & blanket accommodating one member. A wall-mounted push light is in each cubicle with a clothes hook and trash can. Cubicles have individual keys to the door locks. The cubicles’ room is in the Rec Center adjacent to the communal showers and restroom.

RV Park Spaces

We offer both primitive (no hook-up) spaces and spaces with partial hook-ups (30/50 amp and water) on a nightly and monthly basis up to a full year. Complimentary washing machine & clothes dryer available in the Pool House. A secondary entrance/exit for RVs and trailers is located just beyond the resort’s main entrance on Canaan Church Road.

Nightly and Monthly rate is for 1 or 2 members. Each add’l member above 2 members is $10.00/night in same unit.

1. Upon arrival all first-time and existing/renewing members will check-in at the Registration Desk inside the Rec Center to obtain/verify/renew their annual membership and receive their room (or locker) key or be shown their RV or camping sites.

2.  Some fees and rates are subject to 6.75% sales tax or 6.00% hotel tax.

3.  Fees, rates and taxes are subject to change without notice (but all confirmed overnight reservations will be honored even if rates have increased in the interim period).

4.  We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express cards as well as cash for all payments.  Personal checks are not accepted.  The credit card you use to make your reservation will be stored for two reasons: (1) should you cancel your reservation too late or don’t show up (see #12 below) and (2) any incidental charges added during or after your stay.  Failure to include a valid credit card information will void your reservation.

5.  An email confirming your completed reservation will be sent to you.

6.  We permit one dog weighing 25 lbs. or less to stay only in Rainey Creek House first floor Suite B as long as your pet is house-trained and confined to the hard floor surface rooms.  We require all members bringing pets to sign a Pet Waiver & Release of Liability Agreement and, for members staying in the Pool House, charge a $100 non-refundable Pet Cleaning/Damage Security Fee per pet per stay.  You’re responsible for cleaning up after your pet – outside and inside – and for keeping it on a leash while outside.  “Service dogs” are always permitted to accompany their master anywhere on resort property at no charge.  While no pets are permitted inside the Rec Center, Longwood Tavern or enclosed pool area (except “service dogs”), this number of pets and weight limit restriction (within reason) and fee policy doesn’t apply to members camping or in RVs.

7.  If a Rainey Creek House suite is available on the day of your arrival and you wish to rent it, you may do so upon payment of the room charge and tax when you check-in; the rental of a hostel-style sleeping cubicle, bunk room bed, RV pad site and campground site can be done at anytime depending on availability so please ask at the Registration Desk upon your arrival or anytime during your visit.  However, advance reservations are recommended to ensure your accommodation of choice.

8.  Reservations for weekends require a minimum two-night stay at the weekend rate.  Reservations for Holiday/Special Events Weekends also require a minimum two-night stay at the Holiday/Special Event Weekend rate; however, these designated holidays may require a 3-night minimum: Memorial Day, 4th of July & Labor Day.  These weekends are listed on our website Calendar of Events.  Such weekends tend to book to capacity so please make your reservation early.

9.  Check-in time is 3 PM daily.  Late check-in may not be accommodated if it’s during our 5 PM (8 PM Friday & Saturday) to 9 AM after-hours’ period.  If you think you’ll not arrive in time, please contact us in advance to discuss what we can do for you.

10.  Early arrival check-in time may be permitted if your accommodation is ready prior to 3pm.  Call ahead to see if this is possible.  Our workday starts at 9 AM.  If your accommodation is not yet ready, you’re welcome to check-in at the Reception Desk and then enjoy the resort’s facilities until we issue you your room key or otherwise advise that your RV site of tent camping site is available for you.

11.  Checkout time is 11 AM on the day of your departure for all accommodations.  Please check with the Registration Desk should you like a late checkout time and we’ll see if it’s available.  After you checkout, you’re welcome to stay as long as you wish on your departure date.

12.  Cancellation, No Show & Early Departure Policy:  If a reservation is cancelled within 21 days or more prior to the reservation start date, you’ll not be charged; if cancelled within 10-20 days prior to the reservation start date, you’ll be charged 50% of your reservation amount; if cancelled 9 days or less prior to the reservation start date, you’ll be charged your entire reservation amount.  NO refunds will be given for Early Departures.  No Shows will be charged the entire reservation amount and will affect the member’s ability to make future accommodation reservations with us.
